    Hi David:
A puzzling question… in the first picture, why are there, seemingly, a number of UFO’s
in the sky. One looks like a hypersonic jet aircraft? Or is this winter just getting to me.
    Cheers…Greg

You have keen eyes! I think the larger one is a dove (symbol of the Holy Spirit) but the other…. definitely a fighter jet.
Anyone else have an opinion out there?

A little plodding research gives me this:
      trumpets or scrolls
It’s a bit ambiguous, given that this piece seems to be an imaginative, possibly AI-generated, “historical” scene rather than a literal rendering. However, if you look at the upper-left sky just above the statues, you can see two small, airborne objects. They appear to be cloth-like shapes or banners floating in the wind—common to Baroque-inspired art, where drapery or swirling fabrics add drama and movement to the sky. They could also be stylized birds or scrolls, though their exact form is left somewhat indefinite.

In classical or Baroque-style paintings, such floating elements might be purely decorative, meant to suggest a divine or dynamic atmosphere. They might also symbolize things like proclamation (flying scrolls) or celestial presence (birdlike silhouettes). Because the image is not a traditional historical painting but rather a modern interpretation, it’s likely the artist (or AI) included them as a visual flourish, echoing that era’s tendency to fill skies with swirling clouds, angels, drapery, or even banners to heighten the sense of solemn grandeur.

Wow! Thanks for the insight and you know it just makes sense in a Baroque world without the means of communication that we now take for granted.
